SEMCO Microcement X-Bond Starter Kit with Titan Shield

This X-Bond Starter Kit is a great tool to test out the X-Bond Microcement System or to make a control sample for a project. It contains the following:

  • 1/2 Bag of X-Bond Stone
  • 1 Gallon of X-Bond Liquid (or 4 quarts of different pre-colored Xbond Liquid-call to select over the phone)
  • 1 Gallon X-Bond Color Activator (select color on product page)
  • 1 Quart Micro Bond Stone
  • 1 Pint of Liquid Membrane
  • 1 Quart of Titan Shield sealer

X-Bond Microcement System Starter Kit Application Steps

  1. Ensure wall is free from dust and remove paint. If you apply over paint it will always be a week point if there is moisture later on.
  2. Prime wall with X-Bond Liquid
  3. While primer is still wet apply Scratch coat 1:2 X-Bond Liquid to X-bond Stone, spray with a hopper gun or apply with a concrete broom
  4. Mix 1:1:2 X-bond Liquid to X-bond additive to X-bond Stone, trowel over wall to smooth out mortar joints, allow to dry
  5. Apply skim coat of 1:2.5 X-Bond Liquid to X-Bond Stone to create a smoother finish
  6. Apply second skim coat of 1:2.5 X-Bond Liquid to X-Bond Stone to create a final smooth finish – burnish for decorative Venetian Plaster effect
  7. Apply SEMCO Titan Shield Sealer
